This in-person theory and hands-on practical evaluation training allows students to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills required to operate Class 1, 4, or 5 counterbalance forklifts safely. Upon successful completion of course and final written exam, students must successfully complete the hands-on practical evaluation to receive operator certification. Topics include: Responsibilities as a user and operator Conducting a pre-start inspection Conducting a workplace inspection Various types of equipment Safe operation Preventing accidents and identifying hazards in operation.
What is Boom Truck Operator Safety Training?
If you are moving or unloading heavy materials with a boom truck, you need to understand your responsibilities as an operator. Our Boom Truck Operator safety course ensures you know how to recognize and avoid the safety hazards associated with these types of mobile cranes.
The course describes how to start, use, and stop boom trucks, as well as what you need to know to maintain and inspect the trucks and cranes. Once you complete the I-CAB recognized course, you’ll be OSHA compliant.
Who Should Take Boom Truck Operator Safety Training?
This course is designed for anyone who operates or works near a boom truck or stiff boom crane.
The series 1 Forklift Training is a course that we teach here at (DET) Diversified Environmental Training. This is taugh by OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainers. Both the Series 1 Forklift and the series 3 Pallet Jack all are part of the OSHA standard CFR 1910.178. All students will be issued certificates for each discipline. We are conducting a structured in house class which includes knowledge quizzes throughout the morning and an extensive hands on activity that each student must be competent in. There will be a basic final exam of 25 questions that combines both curriculum’s. It is a fun class and will provide students with skills.
